What is the English Speaking Club at Lobbyster?
It's a free-flowing English conversation club in Alexandria, Egypt. People meet in person at Lobbyster to practice speaking English, improve their public speaking and interview skills, and make new friends in a relaxed social setting.
What English level do I need?
Any level. If you can introduce yourself, you're ready. Beginners, intermediate and fluent speakers all join the same friendly circle.
Will anyone correct my mistakes or make fun of my English?
No. The club has one golden rule: no criticism and no sarcasm — not even the friendly kind. Mistakes are always okay, and nobody interrupts you to fix your grammar.
Is this an English course or class?
No. There are no lessons, no grammar drills and no academic content. It's pure speaking practice and social connection — the part most English courses don't give you enough of.
How does it help with job interviews and public speaking?
Every session includes optional moments to speak in front of the group and practice common interview questions in English. Regular practice in a supportive room is what turns nervousness into confidence.
